We pride ourselves on sourcing a mouthwatering range of food options for every taste and culinary desire. Our grounds are filled with food traders with an extraordinary range of cuisines and new taste sensations and our Food on Board area, nestled in the woods, brings into one space some of Ireland’s best gourmet producers serving their dishes on reusable wooden boards. We’re commited to making sure there are options wherever possible for our guests’ dietary requirements and this year sees the debut of a special nook for traders with vegetarian and vegan food.

    Food & Drink FAQ

    What is Body & Soul?

You are invited to enter a parallel world of spellbinding music and performance, immersive art installations, mind-expanding workshops, thought-provoking discussions, glittering woodland discos, soothing wood-fired hot tubs and unparalleled gastronomic experiences.

In the last decade Body & Soul has transformed from a back garden gathering to a bustling village of arts and music that exists for just a few short days each year in the wild Irish countryside. Taking all the energy and power from the longest day of the year, our Body & Soulers bring their most magnificent selves to the table, coming with open minds and ears, looking to connect, reconnect and dance their socks off.

What is the Us&You Campsite? Why should I book an Us&You Ticket?

Us & You is our nicest campsite. Us & You campers help us make the festival sustainable by committing to leave no trace. If you want to commit to being a conscious camper make sure to buy an Us & You ticket.

    How can I change campsites?

For any campsite changes please contact support@ticketbooth.eu with your full order details as soon as possible and they will change your ticket.
If you are on an instalment plan wait until your final payment has been processed and your ticket has been issued by email before requesting to change.
If you originally booked for the Us & You campsite but want to join friends in General Camping instead. However if you booked General Camping and want to join friends in Us & You (and commit to leave no trace) you do need to request a change of ticket from support@ticketbooth.eu.

I want to camp in the Boutique Campsite, what are my options?

For those who want to experience Body & Soul in STYLE, we have some extraordinary boutique camping options available in our dedicated boutique campsite, ranging from pre-pitched tents, Bell tents, tipis and yurts. Book through our partners at Silk Road, LPM Bohemia and Pitched Perfect.

I want to pick up a tent and festival essentials at the festival, how can I do this?

We work with Pamper the Camper to provide tents, camping accessories, full camping packages, chair rental, Eco Kartents, and festival essentials that you can collect at the festival.

Can I park my car beside my tent?

No, vehicles are not permitted into any of the campsites for health and safety reasons. For CAMPERVANS see below.

What about if I have a campervan?

Campervans are permitted into either the campervan area or the family campervan area with a Campervan Ticket or a Family Campervan Ticket. We would define a campervan as having its own built-in kitchen, sink and fitted bed. Campervan passes are available via our ticketing provider, Ticketbooth. You can purchase yours here. You’ll need one campervan pass per vehicle + a normal weekend ticket for everyone staying in the van and this is required for you to enter your campervan area. We do not permit tents to be pitched beside your campervan and there are no electrical hookups or generators allowed in the campervan area for health and safety reasons.

    Can I bring a caravan?

Yes, you can park a caravan in the campervan area. However, once positioned you will need to unhitch and park your car in one of the car parks. Please note that a campervan pass will need to be purchased for your caravan.

Can I park a commercial style van (hi-ace, transit, etc.) in the campervan area if I have a campervan pass?

No, sorry. Only proper purpose-built or adapted live-in vehicles will be permitted.

    Can I bring my pet?

No, we don’t allow pets on site.

    Can I bring a gazebo?

No, we don’t allow gazebos for health and safety reasons.

Does Body & Soul have a Green Policy?

Yes! You can read about our award-winning commitment to sustainability. HERE

    What is the smoking policy?

Smoking is not allowed inside any structures at the festival and this includes your own tent!

What is included in a Family Ticket?

We’re aware that families come in all shapes and sizes. With that in mind, our Family Weekend ticket admits one adult and up to two children access to the Family Campsite for the same price as a regular adult Weekend Ticket. You don't pay extra for the kids. If your family includes more than one adult, then each additional adult should purchase their own Family Camping ticket.
The Family Campsite includes its own independent entrance, dedicated shower and toilet facilities and the invitation to enjoy the full programme of Soul Kids activities on offer.
All adults camping on the Family campsite should arrive with the children to pick up their wristband. Groups and Individuals not attending the festival with accompanying children are not permitted access to the family campsite.

Can children over 12 attend the festival?

Currently, Body & Soul only provides appropriate programming for children under 12. Our Family Campsite activities and Soul Kids area is specifically designed with under 12s in mind and we don’t currently provide adequate support for teenagers. For this reason, we restrict family tickets to children 12 and under. 13-19 year olds cannot be admitted to Body & Soul.

I want to arrive at the Family Campsite before my children, can I gain access?

Our policy is that adults must be with their children in order to gain access to the family campsite. Families have a dedicated entrance to their campsite away from other campers and it is a requirement that you have your children with you in order to obtain your wristbands and gain access to the family campsite.

Who can camp in the Family Camping area?

Only adults with family ticket wristbands and their children. If you are an adult, camping as part of a family, you need a family ticket.

What if we are bringing a campervan for the family?

Families brining a campervan should buy Family Weekend Tickets for each accompanying adult AND also one campervan pass per campervan.
If you purchased a family campervan pass you can enter the festival site via the campervan entrance, from here you will be directed to the family campervans area. If you do not wish to camp in the family campsite please purchase a general campervan pass.

I want to book in for a hot tub with the Immerse Spa Experience, how do I do it?

The Immerse Spa Experience is where you can find our wood-fired hot tubs and Irish seaweed baths and it is available to book either on site in person at the festival or through our online booking system.

How can I stay safe at the festival?

Body&Soul is a beautiful festival filled with wonderful characters and we are delighted to invite you take part in our celebration of the summer solstice. An important part of taking part is staying safe while on your way to the festival, while you are there and on your way home after an incredible weekend under the stars.
We would like to offer you, our visitors, advice on how to take good care of yourself. Below we have created 10 tips on how to have the best festival experience.

    1. Driving to and from the festival

DO NOT USE SATNAV & FOLLOW ROAD SIGNAGE

We have carefully designed a traffic management plan for the event, to ensure a smooth and safe entry to the site for everyone. This means that following your sat nav might not be the most helpful thing to do, as it may bring you to a road closure or onto a route with restricted access. Please follow instructions on our website for your fastest route into the festival. Also, please drive safe, be aware of road conditions and national speed limits, and never ever drink and drive.

    2. When camping, think about the fire risk

Tents, sleeping bags and other clothing and equipment may be flammable. Smoking in your tent is very dangerous, especially as you might get cosy and fall asleep with a lit cigarette! Please do not smoke in your tent.

    3. Be prepared for any type of weather

Be prepared for the fickleness of the Irish weather, it may change rapidly. You may leave your campsite wearing sunnies in the morning, but by the afternoon it can be pouring down rain.

    4. Using alcohol or other drugs is never without risk

Body&Soul does not condone the use of illegal drugs and encourages all of our patrons to please drink responsibly. If you choose to use alcohol or other drugs, please do so consciously. Please be aware that drugs may contain adulturants or be high potency.

    5. Think for yourself, care about others

Please take care of yourself, watch out for each other, and know that you can find help all around you. If you see someone who needs medical attention or a helping hand, keep the positive vibe alive and be a friend to a friend in need.

    6. Pace yourself: eat, sleep, dance

Take your time to recharge and make sure to get enough sleep. Treat yourself to some healthy foods to resupply your energy levels.

    7. Don’t push your limits. Be responsible

Celebrate, dance, be wild, but do it within your own limits.

    8. Take your time to chill

Are you partying in a hot and humid area? Please prevent yourself from overheating and once in a while, take a break from dancing.

    9. Always have safe sex

Not going home alone? Made a new friend, did you? Good for you! But stay smart and be wary of taking strangers back to your camp. Make sure a friend knows who you’re with and where you are, and always, always use condoms.

    10. The First Aid is your friend

If you or your friend is not feeling well, don’t be afraid to visit the First Aid Post or any of the venue’s staff. The First Aid post is a non-judgmental confidential space for you to go at the event. Be honest if substances were taken, this will make it easier for the officers to help you.

REMEMBER: Drink or Drug Driving is illegal and dangerous for yourself and others. Please do not drive a vehicle to or from the event if you are intoxicated. If you plan to drink alcohol at Body & Soul, plan your journey in advance of coming to make sure you have a safe way to get home.
It takes about one hour for the body to process a standard drink. So, for example, if you drink 5 glasses of beer, 5 small glasses of wine, or 5 single measures of spirits you would need to wait at least five hours before it is safe to drive.

    Is there public WiFi

No. There is no public WiFi at Body & Soul

Is there a phone charging point?

Yes there is a phone charging point in the general campsite marked on our public map. It's a good idea to bring a power bank if you have one.
